Day 2 in Rome

First to the Vatican city. We went to the museum where lots of statues, busts, tapestries and paintings are.

Then we saw the Sistine Chapel, where we were not allowed to take pictures. Next door is the actual Vatican church St peters Bascillica. The pita is here and this church houses all the bodies of former priest.

Outside everyone drinks holy water from the fountain. That's me!

Front view of the Vatican square.

Then we took a terrible mini bus ride to the San Ignazio church.
The big dark dome on the top of the picture is actually fake. It is painted to look like a dome but it is flat.

Next, the Pantheon

One of my favorite highlights in Rome was the Fontana de Trevino. It was even more awesome in person.

Ate lunch here. Chris had lasagna and I had spagetti with tomato sauce. This is the picture in there front window. All freshly made pasta.

Chris liked the signs in the subway. Watch out for your crotch people!

Next to the San Giovanni church on the south east side of Rome. Here are the steps that Jesus had walked on in Pontious Pilates temple. They were brought here later. People now pray and only go up on there knees. This is the churches front doors, pretty big!

Rode the Metro back and went to the Museum of Rome next. Chris wanted to take some funny pictures with statues. Got your nose!

Later on that night we went to the Spanish Steps. The hot hang out for people at night. Everything around the area is super expensive.

We walked home. This is the Gelateria we stopped at. The lady was rude, but the Gelato was awesome.

My first fun purchase. A Pasmina from Rome.

Location:Via Nazionale,Rome,Italy
